At Dog Training with Amanda, I believe that dog training should be a fun and rewarding experience for both the dog and the owner. That’s why we offer a unique Canine Hoopers Course which is designed to teach your dog important skills while building a strong bond. In this course, we focus on teaching your dog to navigate a course of hoops and barrels, while also developing their focus and confidence as well as building your bond. With an experienced instructor, your dog will have a great time learning something new.

Like agility but all at ground level making it suitable for all ages of human and dog!

1-2-1 Puppy/Dog Consultation

My one to one puppy consultation in Crawley offers a completely Tailored training for your puppy’s individual needs and your family’s lifestyle. Whether you are welcoming your first puppy or need support with a new addition, these private sessions give you focused guidance right from the start and help prevent common behaviour issues before they start.

You will learn how to guide your puppy with confidence, prevent common behaviour problems and create clear communication that makes everyday life easier.

I will help you understand your puppy’s behaviour, strengthen your bond and give you practical tools you can use straight away. The goal is simple: a calm, confident puppy and a future that feels enjoyable, not overwhelming.

Reactivity Packages/classes

If you're based in Crawley and your dog barks, lunges or seems overwhelmed on walks, you are not alone. My Reactivity programme is a supportive, step by step package designed to help you both feel calmer and more confident in the real world. We focus on understanding why your dog reacts, building practical skills at a pace that feels manageable, and creating steady progress without pressure. This is kind, force free training that meets you where you are and helps you move forward with clarity and hope.

Classes are a maximum of 4 dogs.

Classes based at The Mill Primary in Ifield, Crawley. Packages based at your home.

Puppy Classes

My Crawley Puppy Classes offer a fun and supportive learning environment for puppies of all ages. As an experienced trainer, I provide puppy training advice to help teach your pup the basics of good behavior and manners. During your puppy class, we’ll cover common puppy behaviours like nipping, jumping, recall, and walking nicely, giving you clear strategies for success.

With a focus on positive reinforcement, our classes ensure your puppy will learn valuable life skills foundations as they grow and give you the skills to take into the world. The more work you put in, the better the rewards for you all.

Next Step Classes

If you would like to continue your training after doing a puppy class and learn some more training skills, then this is the class for you. In this class you will learn various things such as good door or road manners, chin rest as well as some more walking nicely and recall. We will be proofing those behaviours we have already learnt and adding in Distance, Duration and Distractions. There will be a mini assessment at the end for you to take! Homework is required!

Levels 1,2 & 3 available.
